It's amazing to think that this is a journey that has been over 15 years in the making. What started out as a heart tug to dive into East African culture has finally turned into an adventure this summer. Plane tickets are booked, contact with organizations has been made, now it's just a matter of waiting for the day to come to board the flight and take off into the air. I'm so excited! Excited for all the experiences that will come out of it, all the people I'll meet and tastes and smells and sounds...One thing is for sure, I know this will change me forever.
